Een beperkt aantal Rexpat leden is welkom bij een smaakmakende boek premiere
Het boek:
Too Small to Fail discusses how small, outperforming countries have ‘arrived at the future first’ and as ‘laboratories of the future’, are being forced to grapple with problems that impact us all.
During the event, the author will discuss why certain small countries such as the Netherlands outperform their larger peers in the contemporary era.
Het initiatief
The S8 Initiative has grown out of this book and seeks to unite smaller innovative countries in an annual conference, scheduled in 2020. S8 seeks to bring together leading politicians, academics and business people in delegations from eight small, outperforming countries in order to share insights and policy knowledge in a number of different fields and issue areas. The aim is to spark social and political debate, position the leadership of S8 countries in key issues and be a platform of growth for other nations.
